My Shoot Plan

Sharon LittleJohn ยท BBJewel Testimonial for Commander
Follow top to bottom. Read between takes. Skip anything that isn't true for you.

โš ๏ธ Read this before you record

Never say these on camera โ€” any one of them means the clip gets thrown out:

๐Ÿ’ก If you slip mid-sentence โ€” just stop, pause, and start that clip over. Don't try to talk your way out of it. Re-takes are free.

๐Ÿ“ฑ Filming this by yourself

You can't film with your phone and read off the same screen. Pick whichever fits your moment:

โญ Easiest โ€” hand the phone to a person
Trenton, a family member, anyone. You hold nothing. They can even read you each line out loud right before you say it. Best eye contact of any option, because you're looking at a human.
โญโญ Second-screen prompter (your iPad!)
Open SHOOT_PLAN.pdf on your iPad in OneDrive โ†’ prop it right under your phone's lens. Read from the iPad, film with the phone. This works great for you since the iPad is already set up.
โญโญโญ One phone, solo โ€” the swipe rhythm
Read the line on your phone (5-8 words โ€” it sticks) โ†’ swipe to Camera app โ†’ record โ†’ swipe back โ†’ next line. About 10 minutes for all 16. Works fine, just takes rhythm.
๐ŸŽฅ Use the plain Camera app โ€” NOT Instagram, TikTok, or Snapchat. They compress video and strip quality that Bill's team needs.
๐Ÿ“ฑ Selfie camera is fine. Good light on your face beats every other gear choice.
๐Ÿช‘ No phone stand? Lean it against a stack of books, a lamp base, or a cereal box. Just make sure it doesn't move.

Shoot Sequence

# What Orientation Setting Time
1 Part A โ€” Setup + test clip Horizontal Main (desk + window) ~1 min
2 Part B โ€” 16 rapid-fire lines (Round 1) Horizontal Main (desk + window) ~10 min
3 Rotate phone โ†’ Part B (Round 2) Vertical Main (same spot) ~10 min
4 Part C โ€” 5 story clips Horizontal Main (rotate phone back) ~8 min
5 Part D โ€” 2 closers Horizontal Main (same spot) ~2 min
6 Grab phone โ†’ Part B (Round 3) Vertical Walking OR car-mounted ~10 min
7 Part E โ€” Wrap, review, upload โ€” Anywhere ~5 min
Total: about 40โ€“50 minutes of shooting
PART A Setup Do this once, before anything
  • Phone horizontal on a stand at eye level
  • Face a window (soft light on your face) โ€” no window behind you
  • Wipe the camera lens
  • Quiet room, door closed, phones on silent
  • Record ONE 5-second test clip โ†’ play back โ†’ confirm audio is clear and face is well-lit
PART B Rapid-Fire Clips 16 one-liners
Rule: SKIP any line that isn't true for you. Don't force it.

๐Ÿ’Ž BBJewel's read on these โ€” knowing your voice

Four of the 16 lines are especially you. Take extra care on these โ€” slow down, mean them, land them:

  • #4 "I don't code. I command." โ€” This IS you. You run operations, systems, and people โ€” you're not a coder. Say it with quiet confidence.
  • #5 "I'm not technical. That's the point." โ€” You literally said this today about the vendor outreach: "I didn't even know where to start." Own it.
  • #9 "You're not behind. Nobody's shown you yet." โ€” This is your whole teaching philosophy. This is the one your LOs would recognize. Land it slowly, look at the lens.
  • #11 "If I can do it, you can do it." โ€” You're the person people come to for encouragement. This is your voice, dead on.

The rest are still solid โ€” just don't force any that don't ring true.

For EACH line below:
  1. Record.
  2. Look at the lens.
  3. Say it.
  4. Pause 2 seconds (silence โ€” makes editing easy).
  5. Say it again with different energy (take 1 warm, take 2 punchy).
  6. Stop.
  • "My life is different now."
  • "Things will never be the same."
  • "My business will never be the same."
  • "I don't code. I command."
  • "I'm not technical. That's the point."
  • "It works while I sleep."
  • "If you can think it, you can build it."
  • "Grant and Bill trained me. Now it runs my day."
  • "You're not behind. Nobody's shown you yet."
  • "The tools will change. The skill won't."
  • "If I can do it, you can do it."
  • "Don't get left behind."
  • "Go build yours."
  • "Do it. You'll thank yourself."
  • "Your AI. Your terms. Your business."
  • "One day. Go."
The 16 lines get shot 3 times total โ€” 3 different rounds:
  • Round 1 (do now): Horizontal, main setting
  • Round 2: Rotate phone to VERTICAL, same spot, redo all 16 lines
  • Round 3 (do LAST, after Parts C & D): Vertical, SECOND SETTING โ€” walking selfie OR phone mounted in car (eyes on road)
PART C My Story Clips 5 clips ยท in your own words
Rule for all 5: Talk to the camera like you're telling a friend. Two takes each, different words the second time, back-to-back same spot (both takes horizontal, main setting). Cues below are YOUR phrases โ€” riff off them, don't memorize.
1Opening โ€” how you describe yourself
Cues (use one or blend):
  • "I'm the facilitator of systems, loans, and people at a small mortgage company."
  • "I build processes. I love puzzles. I love figuring out how to make things work."
  • "I like helping people grow their business and grow their role."
End the clip with these EXACT words:
“Grant and Bill trained me on this exact system.”
2The Before
Cues (pick the one that feels most true):
  • "Vendor outreach for our point-of-sale had been pushed for months โ€” I didn't even know where to start. Every time I researched it, it got more overwhelming."
  • "I've wanted to build a training website for five years. I've done training my whole career, I'm the person people come to โ€” but I didn't know where to start, or how to think of the concept."
Feeling to land: stuck, overwhelmed, tired of the thing sitting there.
3What BBJewel Does For You
Cues (name 2-3):
  • "She drafts my vendor emails from scratch โ€” I review and send."
  • "She keeps track of every project I'm running. I dump my thoughts in, she formats them, remembers them, keeps me on track across three or four projects at once."
  • "She does the research I never had time for."
Optional add: "I don't have to go find my notes anymore โ€” they're already organized."
4Your Story Moment ยท THE GOLD CLIP
Tell it like it happened:
"Today my colleague Chris and I both went offline at the same time โ€” different error messages, same problem. She's messaging me in Teams: 'I think I broke Willis' (that's her agent). I'm messaging her back: 'I think I broke BBJewel โ€” I didn't do anything!' That was the moment I realized how much I depend on this โ€” not just today, but going forward. Work projects, my son's training website, my grandma's book. All of it."
Two takes: First take like you're telling a girlfriend. Second take slower โ€” land the "I didn't do anything!" line with a small laugh.
5Where The Time Went
Cues (pick 1-2):
  • "This weekend I went with my son Trenton โ€” we drove 30 miles for an incredible meal, went to the movies, actually talked about his business and where he's growing it. I hadn't done that in a year."
  • "I'm about to start the book my grandma always wanted to write โ€” I've held onto that idea for over a decade."
  • "I've done more creative work in the last few weeks than I did in the whole last year."
PART D My Closers EXACT words ยท 2 clips
For each: Record. Look at lens. Say it. Pause. Say it again (second take a touch punchier). Stop.

Setting: Horizontal, main spot โ€” same as Part C. Both takes back-to-back, no camera move.
  • "I check everything for a living โ€” this checked out."
  • "I was skeptical. Now I get it."
PART E Wrap Before uploading
  • Watch ONE clip from each part (A test / B / C / D) โ€” audio clear, eyes at lens
Confirm NOTHING recorded includes:
  • Client names
  • Dollar amounts
  • Your company's name (Clear Home Loans โ€” check hats, shirts, mugs, screens in background)
  • Any claim you attended an event
  • Location info (billboards, street signs, addresses visible in second-setting shots)
  • Open the folder link in Bill's email โ†’ find your named folder โ†’ upload every clip at original quality
  • Reply to Bill's email with: "I agree"
You've got this. ๐Ÿ’Ž
Interview transcript + reply drafts also in this folder.
